Pest control in Tremont

Tremont had 69 residents at the 2021 census, and almost all of it is national park.

We connect you with a local pest controller who works in the hills.

A few houses inside the park

Almost all of Tremont is Dandenong Ranges National Park. The planning maps put more than nine-tenths of it in park, and the post office that opened here in 1913 closed in 1977.

So nearly every animal that turns up at a Tremont house is wildlife, and wildlife may not be killed, trapped or disturbed without a permit. A brushtail possum can be trapped humanely and released on the same property within 50 m, and no further. A snake is a job for a licensed snake controller; 136 186 has a list. Who to call covers the rest.

Termites

Tremont is Yarra Ranges, which is designated as a termite area throughout. New building work there must be protected. A sliver at the edge falls in Knox, and there the owner signs a termite statement before a building permit. The address decides which applies. Termites explains both.

Upper Ferntree Gully and Ferntree Gully
Knox, all or mostly, and the Knox termite statement.

What's the job?

What you've seen and where: the roof, the walls, the kitchen or the garden, and for how long.

A photo of the pest, the droppings or the damage helps with the quote.
